Laura and Kyle's love story began in their hometown, although they didn't cross paths until their senior year of college. Laura, and Kyle were introduced through a mutual friend at JMU. Their connection first began when Kyle, with a mix of nerves and excitement, asked Laura to accompany him to VMI's homecoming weekend. From the moment they arrived, it was clear that they had found something special in each other. They spent the weekend laughing, sharing their college highlight reels, and realizing how perfectly their paths had intertwined, despite never crossing before.

After graduating college, they took off on an exciting new chapter together in Charleston, South Carolina. Kyle went on to complete his masters degree at The Citadel and they officially planted roots and bought their first home together in the Summer of 2023. Together, they have made their house a home in a cozy suburb of Charleston, filling it with laughter and dreams for their future.

In December of 2023, among the Christmas trees at the Biltmore, Kyle got down on one knee and asked Laura to marry him. Overwhelmed with tears of joy, Laura said YES as a gentle rain outside seemed to bless their first moments of a lifetime together.

Now, as they prepare to exchange vows, Laura and Kyle are eager to celebrate their marriage surrounded by the people that they love the most! See you in Charleston!
